(पश्चिम बंगाल) गुरुवार को केंद्रीय संस्कृति एवं पर्यटन राज्यमंत्री (स्वतंत्र प्रभार) श्री प्रहलाद सिंह पटेल संन्यासी विद्रोह का केन्द्र रहे ऐतिहासिक देवी चौधरानी मंदिर के दर्शन के लिए गए लेकिन मंदिर की हालत और भवानी पाठक और देवी चौधरानी की जली हुई प्रतिमाओं को देखकर काफी दुखी हुए।
मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी पर श्री प्रहलाद सिंह पटेल जमकर बरसे और उन पर मंदिर के विषय में गलत जानकारी देने का आरोप लगाया। आपको बता दें कि चार साल पहले यह प्राचीन मंदिर जल गया था लेकिन अभी तक मंदिर के पुनर्निमाण का कार्य पूरा नहीं हो पाया है जबकि मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी ने मंदिर का काम पूरा होने की गलत जानकारी दी। श्री प्रहलाद सिंह पटेल ने इसे दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण बताया। उन्होंने इसे ना सिर्फ धार्मिक रूप से लोगों की भावनाओं को आहत करना बताया बल्कि वंदे मातरम के रचियता बंकिमचंद्र चट्टोपाध्याय का भी अपमान बताया। उन्होंने कहा कि बंकिमचंद्र जी ने इसी पवित्र भूमि पर वंदे मातरम की रचना की थी और यहीं से अंग्रेजों ने उन्हें गिरफ्तार किया था। श्री प्रहलाद सिंह पटेल ने कहा कि हम बंकिमचंद्र चट्टोपाध्याय जी के सम्मान में देशभर से वंदे मातरम गाने वाले कलाकारों को इस पवित्र भूमि पर इकट्ठा करेंगे और एक भव्य कार्यक्रम का आयोजन करेंगे।
आपको जानकारी दे कि पश्चिम बंगाल धार्मिक और राजनैतिक दोनों ही दृष्टि से महत्वपूर्ण क्षेत्र रहा है। यहां का संन्यासी विद्रोह इतिहास में बहुत प्रसिद्ध है। इस क्षेत्र में क्रांतिकारी संन्यासियों के वेश में शरण लेते थे। धर्म प्रचार के आवरण में देश भक्ति का प्रचार किया जाता था। इन्हीं क्रांतिकारियों में अग्रणी थे भवानी पाठक जो उत्तर प्रदेश के गोरखपुर जिले के मूल निवासी थे।
उन्होंने उत्तर बंगाल को अपना कर्म क्षेत्र चुना था और इस कर्म यज्ञ में उनकी सहयोगी बनीं थीं यहां की एक बागी पुत्र-वधू जो कालांतर में देवी चौधरानी के नाम से प्रसिद्ध हुई

गोंडा। बुद्ध पूर्णिमा पर्व के अवसर पर शनिवार को करनैलगंज के श्री चित्रगुप्त इंटर कालेज में कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम मे भगवान बुद्ध के बताए रास्ते पर चलने का संकल्प लिया गया।

करनैलगंज के श्री चित्रगुप्त इंटर कॉलेज में शनिवार को बुद्ध पूर्णिमा पर्व पर विद्यालय के प्रबंधक बीके श्रीवास्तव ने भगवान बुद्ध की प्रतिमा पर माल्यार्पण किया। प्रबंधक ने बौद्ध धर्म की प्रासंगिकता व पंचशील सिद्धांत की जानकारी दी।

विद्यालय के प्रधानाचार्य जीके श्रीवास्तव ने बताया कि बुद्ध पूर्णिमा के दिन ही महात्मा बुद्ध का जन्म हुआ था और इसी दिन उन्हे ज्ञान की प्राप्ति हुई थी। बुद्ध को संदेश की संदेश दिन होने के कारण इस दिन को उन्होने बहुत महत्वपूर्ण बताया।  संतराम विश्वकर्मा ने बुद्ध के जीवन आदर्शो पर चलने पर बल दिया। इस अवसर पर राम नारायण सिंह, कैलाश चंद, सविता, अंकित श्रीवास्तव, बृजेश कुमार, हर्षित, अर्पित, राजकुमार,सृष्टि,अनुकृति आदि उपस्थित रहे।
